Micellar water is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water. These tiny balls of cleansing oil are attracted to dirt and oil, meaning they are able to draw out impurities without drying the skin.
Washing your face with hard water can actually be detrimental to skin health, as it has been shown to disrupt the skin’s barrier function. If the skin’s barrier function is disrupted, it can lead to the worsening of conditions such as rosacea, acne, eczema and dermatitis and basically means that your skin is not protected as well from extrinsic factors.
Hyaluronic is a substance occurring naturally in the human body that can bind a large amount of moisture (up to 1000 times its own weight). Water and Hyaluronic are the two most important substances filling our connective tissue.
